Nashwauk house damaged by fire Monday morning

Multiple fire departments were called out Monday morning to a house fire in Nashwauk. According to the Northland Fire Wire, the blaze was reported around 10:15 a.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

According to the report, a renter in the home was checked out by EMS personnel on the scene.

The house sustained extensive damaged and a neighboring home had exterior damage from the fire.

The Nashwauk, Keewatin, Hibbing, Greenway, and Trout Lake fire departments assisted and the Nashwauk Ambulance Service provided medical standby at the scene.
