One injured in Highway 61 accident

Authorities responded to a single vehicle accident in Lake County on April 12.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford SUV was travelling north on Highway 61 at Stanley Road, just outside of Two Harbors. The SUV then entered the median ditch and continued for about 100 yards before jumping the northbound U-turn crossover, hitting several signs before coming to a stop in the median.
The driver, an 85-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by Two Harbors PD, and the Lake County Ambulance and FD.
