Saturday night fire at funeral home
A fire at the Mlaker funeral home was contained to one side of the building (Northland FireWire).
On Saturday night at around 11:50 pm, a fire was reported at a back entrance of Mlaker Funeral Home. According to Northland FireWire, the fire was contained to one side of the building.
Cook firefighters responded to the fire, and the Cook Ambulance Service provided medical standby at the scene. The Pike-Sandy-Britt and Kinney-Great Scott Fire Departments were paged but cancelled while en route.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
