The Duluth Playhouse Fundraiser “Singing with the Stars” is making a return to the NorShor Theatre March 1st.

The big night of musical theatre, put on by local Duluth leaders, is set to raise money to carry out the Playhouse’s mission to creating opportunities in theatrical arts that educate, entertain, and engage the region. That includes all their shows and all their classes as well.

Throughout the night you’ll hear from the 10 stars, as they perform one musical theatre number each. Then the audience will have the chance to vote on who they liked the best.

Joining the roster for 2024 is WDIO’s very own Kenny Johnson. He says he’s ready for the competition after judging the competition in 2023. He says he will be singing Roxie from the Musical “Chicago” and that he can’t wait to show you what he’s been rehearsing.
