Snowshoeing at the Glensheen Mansion now through February

The Glensheen Mansion is offering snowshoeing on it’s historic grounds now through February.

Every Wednesday, from 4:00pm through 7:00pm you can snowshoe the grounds for free. You can even rent out snowshoes for free too.

With 12 acres of land to explore there’s so many parts of Glensheen you can see apart from the main mansion tour according to Marketing Manager Mike Mayou.

“Chester Congdon was really a visionary for the North Shore Scenic Drive and he loved Lake Superior and the amenities that we have. So building that trail system that we have around Glensheen was really something he loved to do,” Says Mayou.

No reservation is needed when snowshoeing at the mansion, and a warm fire is available to warm you up if needed.
