Sunday structure fire in Duluth displaces two adults, two kids, and one dog
At 2:11 pm Sunday, the Duluth Fire Department responded to a call of a structure fire at 43 Burger Drive. 10 Engine was the first crew on scene, arriving within three minutes of the call. The 10 Engine crew found flames on the front porch, climbing the siding to the eaves, and smoke showing from the roofline of the mobile home.
Crews from Station 10, Station 8, Station 2, and Headquarters all responded to attack the fire. Two residents and one dog were present at the time of the fire and escaped safely on their own.
According to the Duluth Fire Department, approximately $50,000 in damage is estimated to the building and its contents. No injuries were reported.
Two adults, two kids, and one dog were displaced by the fire and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross. The incident remains under investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s office.
