Superior schools receive $1,500 donation toward weekend student meals
The Superior Dunkin’/Baskin Robbins made a $1500 donation to School District of Superior on Friday, February 2.
The donation will go towards the the district’s weekend meal program.
“We are happy that our first big contribution to the local community on behalf of this team goes to an
organization they are so passionate about, ” said Traci Lloyd, Dunkin’/Baskin Field Marketing Manager. “In
their eyes, no other organization could meet our goal better than the school district’s weekend backpack program.”
Seventy-seven students utilize the program each weekend and they receive a food package including snacks, main entrees, nonperishables, and other items.
“We are extremely grateful for this generous donation,” said Carrie Hennessey, School District of Superior
Family Services & Mental Health Coordinator. “With this money, we can purchase additional requested items from our students.”
