Suspect arrested in connection to recent vehicle break-ins

On January 26, 2024, investigators from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and the Duluth Police Department located and arrested a man who is believed to be involved in numerous vehicle break-ins throughout the city of Duluth and Midway Township. Many of these vehicle break-ins occurred at trailhead parking lots on Becks Rd. Some of the stolen items were located during a subsequent search of the vehicle the suspect was driving.

The man was booked at the St. Louis County jail on charges of felony domestic assault and 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct, which were from an unrelated incident. Additional charges related to the vehicle break-ins will be requested from the County Attorney’s Office after a follow up investigation is complete.
