Charity and Nate excited for Music on the Ship to start

Charity from the Duluth band Charity and Nate joined Good Morning Northland to talk more about their music and history as they get ready for Music on the Ship to start on Thursday July 25th.

The William A. Irvin is making its debut as a concert venue Thursday as part of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center’s new Music on Ship Series. Good Morning Northland’s Nyah Adams sat down with the organizer and first performer, Charity Huot, to talk more in depth about the six week series.

Local bands will play on top of the Irvin from July 25 through August 29. Guests will be able to hear jazz, hard rock and 80s pop.

The event runs 7 – 8:30 p.m.

The DECC can welcome a max of 140 people on top the ship. They’re sticking to family-friendly drinks, including mocktails and other soft drink, but no alcohol.

You’re asked to bring a chair in a bag.
