Minnesota and Wisconsin primary voting information
Voters will head to polls in Minnesota and Wisconsin Tuesday, August 13 in order to decide both state’s primary elections.
These elections will determine who is on the ballot in certain races in the general election November 5.
For those heading to polls, it’s important to make sure they’re registered, know where to go, and who’s on the ballot. Fortunately, all of this information is available online.
Minnesota
Minnesota voters can get information from the Secretary of State’s website.

Minnesotans can also register to vote in-person at their polling place, so long as they bring proof of residence.
Wisconsin
Wisconsin voters can get the same information from their state’s voting website.

All voters in Wisconsin are required to provide an approved ID to vote. Wisconsinites can also register to vote in person at their polling place.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in both states.
