12-year-old bicyclist struck by vehicle, life flighted in Ashland County

A 12-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle June 13 in the Township of Marengo in Ashland County, Wisconsin. As per the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, the bicyclist was traveling near the intersection of Highway County C and Van De Bruggen Road when they were struck by the vehicle.

The child was transported from the scene with injury and was later life flighted. The driver of the vehicle was released without injury.

The crash is under investigation by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.
