13th annual Cloquet Croquet Invitational returns

The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation hosted their 13^th annual Cloquet Croquet Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. 20 teams of four played one-on-one in a round robin followed by single elimination playoffs for the top 8 teams at the Cloquet Country Club.

The teams were also given the challenge to dress up, with a special prize for the best-dressed team. This year’s theme was Beach Party. There were additional prizes for the winners of the tournament.

Money from the event went towards supporting the FDLTCC Student Scholarship Fund.

According to officials from the school, the purpose of the scholarship program is to encourage the enrollment of students who will add to the overall excellence of academic and extra-curricular programs. The program is also intended to provide financial support to students who have demonstrated qualities of academic excellence and leadership within Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
