19-year-old killed in Thursday night crash in Hibbing

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 19 year old pedestrian lost their life in a crash in Hibbing just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday night.
It happened on Highway 169 and East 25th street. The State Patrol says a driver in a 2007 Ford Edge was traveling northbound on Highway 169 when the pedestrian walking eastbound on East 25th Street was struck.
The road conditions were listed as wet at the time of the crash.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s office, Hibbing Police Department, and Hibbing Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene.
