6-year-old has serious injuries after being run over by a brush mower

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says a 6-year-old was seriously injured after being run over by a brush mower.

It happened around 2 p.m. Friday in Field Township, which is north of Cook, Minn. Authorities say the 6-year-old girl was a passenger on an ATV that was pulling a brush mower.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the child fell off the ATV and was run over by the brush mower.

She was reportedly taken by ambulance to the hospital in Cook then airlifted to Minneapolis Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.
