77-year-old woman missing from Iron River assisted living located safe

UPDATE: Iron River authorities say Carol Stahl has been located safe.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Wisconsin’s Iron River Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

77-year-old Carol Stahl was last seen around 2:00pm Tuesday afternoon at the assisted living facility she resides at, located on District Street. When she was checked on again, she was missing.

Carol is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a beige long sleeve shirt, and was wearing a hairclip on the left side of her head. She is about 5’9″ tall, has blue eyes, and shoulder-length grey hair.

Authorities say Carol does have a cognitive disability like dementia. It’s unclear which direction she traveled when leaving the assisted living facility.
