A Day Out with Thomas hosted in Two Harbors for the first time
A Day Out with Thomas is back on the North Shore Scenic Railroad and ready to give rides tomorrow.
Thomas and Percy first made their stop yesterday in Two Harbors. Usually, the event is held at the depot in Duluth, but organizers wanted to bring the fun to a new city.
There is much more to do than just get a train ride from one of the two tank engines. With the cost of admission, you can play mini golf, watch live magic shows, and play on the bouncy house. The full list of events is here.
The event is quite loud, so if you are looking for a sensory friendly day to get a ride, tomorrow would be the day to do so as they host their sensory day. You also may want to bring some ear plugs for the kids
Event director of A Day With Thomas, Kelly Cochrane says this affects the economy in a very positive way. “We have done several studies about how the commerce. It brings several thousand dollars to the local economy per event.”
Cochrane mentioned that they even had visitors come from California to get a ride from the Thomas and Percy trains this year.
