A decade of Bike Duluth
Hundreds of bikers, from novices to experts, will take to Spirit Mountain over the weekend for Bike Duluth Festival, running Friday through Sunday, July 19 to 21,
Organizers moved to a slightly later date than 2023 to help the event continue to grow and tap into the expanding calendar of competitive mountain biking.
In its 10 years of history, the event has raised of $400,000 for the Harbortown Rotary Club and COGGs, of the Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores. Last year, the event also added the Duluth DEVO Mountain Bike Program as a beneficiary.
“Hosting this event mid summer has proven to be a great draw for riders of all riding capabilities, and it fits well with the broader mountain bike racing calendar,” noted Chloe Strand, 2024 Bike Duluth Festival Chair.
“We offer a huge range of race options, which means the Bike Duluth festival is a great place for someone’s first race – alongside those competing against some of the top mountain bike racers in the country. Spirit Mountain is a perfect venue with runs that rival those offered in western mountain states.”
Racing is a big piece of the event, but it’s not the only thing. Your can also learn about bike equipment and bring the whole family as there will be plenty of entertainment.
