A look at the Mayo Clinic expansion project

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is in Rochester Monday to look at the progress being made on the Mayo Clinic’s expansion. The project, estimated at $5 billion was approved by the Mayo Board of Trustees in November, 2023 as par of the “Bold, Forward. Unbound” initiative. It is the largest investment in it’s 160 year history.

The event is scheduled to begin shortly.

The $5 billion will go into their campus in Rochester to expand patient care. It is expected to take six years until completion.
