All races full for 40th running of the Beargrease

All three of the races that are part of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon are full.

2024 will mark the 40th running of the race, with 66 mushers total competing.

There are 18 signed up for the full marathon, including five past champions and Junior Iditarod winner Morgan Martens.

In the 120, 28 mushers are signed up, including three juniors. The Beargrease 40 is full with 20 dog teams.

The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon begins Jan. 28, 2024, at Billy’s Bar in Duluth.
