Authorities acquire 5 pounds of meth in Fayal Township meth bust

Monday, authorities apprehended an individual and acquired 5lbs of meth in the Fayal Township.

According to St. Louis County, members of the LSVOTF arrested an individual at the Cenex gas station at 3504 Hwy 53 in Fayal Township.

The arrest of the individual was the result of a methamphetamine sales investigation conducted by the LSVOTF.

A search warrant was later obtained for the vehicle involved. That is where they found approximately 5lbs of methamphetamine was located along with $1,000 dollars.

The individual was later booked into the St. Louis Co Jail in Virginia for 1st degree sales of methamphetamine. An additional search warrant was later obtained for a residence in the City of Hibbing where an additional 120 grams of methamphetamine was located along with $889 dollars.
