Authorities find armed robbery suspect in Superior

Authorities have found the suspect of an armed robbery in Eau Claire- which happened at the WESTconsin Credit Union on Monday.

On Wednesday, Wisconsin State Patrol took Maxwell D. Luebeck into custody on Highway 53 near Superior.

Eau Claire Police announced earlier in the day they were looking for the 25-year-old. Police thank tipsters who identified the suspect within 18 minutes of police posting his photo to social media.

Police did not find Lubeck at his home. They say he was seen in the Ashland area Tuesday night.

Police had told the public that Luebeck was considered armed and dangerous.
