Pine Co. man who left group home found safe

Pine County authorities say a 39-year-old man who walked away from a group home Tuesday evening has been found safe.

The Minnesota BCA said around 6 p.m. Tuesday, Daniel Madison Imes left the home on Settlers Pond Drive in Sturgeon Lake.

He was reportedly seen walking through backyards a short time later. Authorities say they were concerned for his welfare.

The Pine County Sheriff said, “Thank you to everyone who assisted in locating him and for sharing the information.”
