Barbie exhibition coming to the DECC
The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) will be hosting “Barbie®: A Cultural Icon” exhibition from August 6 to September 22. The exhibit charts the iconic dolls 65-year history and first debuted in 2021 in Las Vegas and Phoenix.
“We are so pleased to have been chosen for this high-quality Barbie exhibition,” said Daniel Hartman, Executive Director, Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. “If you have been a Barbie fan at any point in your life, this exhibit is for you. Plus, I bet you will walk away with a new appreciation for the positive impacts Barbie has had on pop culture.”
The exhibit will feature more than 300 vintage artifacts, life-sized Barbie boxes and and Ultravette for photo opportunities, and life-sized fashions.
Tickets will be $22 for everyone 16 and up, $17 for children from ages 5 to 15, and $62 for the VIP package. The VIP package includes front of line access, a Barbie tote bag, and Barbie sunglasses.
