A new era for BARKO Hydraulics in Superior, with the addition of a new brand called KRAKEN Machines.

They’ve been serving the forestry industry for over 60 years. And KRAKEN will expand their reach into other industries.

Chamber leaders helped celebrate the launch on Tuesday.

The goal is to grow the business. The company anticipates KRAKEN Machines will be available by the end of the year.

Justin Rupar, BARKO’s president, said, “We’re excited. We want to reach new markets. The strategy is really taking our core and expanding it into adjacent markets. First we’ll target North America, and then we’ll look globally.”
