Blood drive battle back among local first responders

Local first responders are again planning a faceoff, the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
People can give blood for Team Law, Team Fire, or Team Mayo. The Duluth Police Department, Duluth Fire Department, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service is working with Memorial Blood Centers on the drive.
The winning agency gets a traveling trophy and bragging rights for the year. Duluth firefighters won in 2024.
The blood drive runs from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at 4505 W Michigan St.
