Broken sewer line at Ely Schools sends students home

Students in Ely are being sent home early due to a broken sewer line.

According to a post on Facebook, Ely Public Schools says a sewer line on campus was broken and crews are unable to gain control.

School officials say buses will be on campus at 10:30am to bring students home. High School students who walked or drove to school were dismissed immediately. The post says Elementary students are safe in the auditorium, and students riding the bus will be dismissed at 10:30am. Students who do not ride the bus and cannot drive should be picked up at 10:30am, as the school will close shortly after.
