Cancellations and schedule changes due to weather

Duluth city officials say most of the facilities will remain open to the public on Wednesday. However, the Duluth Workforce Development/CareerForce will be closed due to the wintry weather. Workforce Development staff will be working remotely. The job fair scheduled for today at CareerForce has been canceled.
Officials say three commission meetings, the Duluth Commission on Disabilities, Duluth NQT2SLGBIA Commission and the Alcohol, Gambling, and Tobacco Commission is canceled for Wednesday. The Alcohol, Gambling, and Tobacco Commission meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, April 7 at 4:45 p.m.

Additional closings and cancellations due to wintry weather:
- Christ Lutheran Church in Duluth has canceled their soup supper and church service this evening
- Community Action Duluth will be closed Wednesday.
- Duluth Public Library’s Mount Royal branch to close at 5:00 PM.
- Duluth Parks and Recreation programming canceled for Wednesday, including open skate at Heritage, all Senior programs and clubs at Morgan Park, Evergreen and Portman. Senior meal service canceled at Evergreen today, as well as Gentle Yoga at Lafayette Community Center.
- Duluth Transit Authority is cancelling scheduled rides after 6: 00PM, services expected to resume in the morning.
- Duluth Salvation Army will be closed.
- Elim Lutheran Church in West Duluth has canceled evening soup supper, service, Oasis Kids and choir practice.
- Gloria Dei Lutheran Lenten soup supper and service is canceled.
- Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Duluth has canceled its Wednesday Lenten Service and supper.
- Meals on Wheels for Duluth, Proctor and Hermantown has canceled meal deliver Wednesday
- Moose Lake Meals on Wheels kitchen will be closed for home delivered means and Senior Dining on Wednesday.
- NorthPointe Resource Center tax services have been canceled.
- Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet has canceled all afternoon and evening activities.
- PAVSA office is closed and the art group is canceled.
- Sychar Lutheran Church in Silver Bay has canceled this evening’s Lenten supper and service.
- United Lutheran in Proctor and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Duluth has canceled Wednesday night confirmation, soup supper, and worship services.
