The spring storm that the Storm Track Weather Department has been talking about has hit the Northland with snow and ice and the impacts are still being felt on Wednesday. Road crews are out clearing streets and residents and businesses are working to clear their sidewalks.
There is still a Winter Weather Advisory posted for our region until 7p.m. Expect winds to increase leading to reduced visibility and slippery roadways and sidewalks. If you must travel, use caution.
Some local events are being canceled or rescheduled due to the storm. This list will be updated as additional closures or cancellations come in. If you would like your event added to the list, please email news@wdio.com.

Wednesday, March 27
- All YMCA programming and group exercise classes are canceled until 2:00 p.m., at the following Duluth Area Family YMCA locations: Downtown Duluth YMCA, YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center, and The Y at the Woodland Community Center.
- Afterschool programming at KEY Zone, Duluth, MN, and Eagle’s Nest After School Program will be cancelled.
- Community Action Duluth is closed today
