Candidates call for support of Nemadji Trail Energy Center

Wisconsin congressman Tom Tiffany and other local candidates, Romaine Quinn and Angie Sapik, gathered near the proposed Nemadji Trail Energy Center site. The group stood together as they called upon the EPA, the Ever Administration, and the Biden Administration to stop blocking its construction.

Rep. Tom Tiffany said, “My concern is that the Biden Administration wants to put a stop to its construction. I don’t know why they would want to do that. There’s no reason not to move forward.” He says the multiple permits have been issues and this pause comes in at the 11th hour.

Tiffany hopes that this natural gas plant will be opened to ensure the delivery of energy. And to support the countries energy independence, something he says has been a problem in the past two years.
