Caravan of Cook Lions Club members brought back cleaning supplies for people impacted by flood
The Cook Lions Club went on quite the shopping spree to help residents affected by the flood
The Cook Lions Club went on quite the shopping spree on Monday morning. They headed down in a caravan to L&M Fleet Supply in Mt. Iron, and picked up all kinds of cleaning supplies and equipment like dehumidifers.
Then they brought the goods back to the Cook Fire Hall.
President Steve Kajala told us they used the emergency grant from the Lions Club International, along with some of the local Cook funds.
And they made a $3500 donation to the Cook Fireman’s Relief Fund, to help cover meals for the firefighters and volunteers who’ve been working so hard during this flood.
