Chester Bowl Fall Fest kicks off the season

People gathered at Chester Bowl for the 40th annual Chester Bowl Fall Fest regional craft festival on Saturday September 21st.

Over 130 local vendors were there along with 10 food vendors and live music performances.

The Chester Bowl Improvement Club was there with information on Chester programs like skiing, snowboarding, and summer camps. Event goers were asked for a suggested donation for scholarships to help families participate in Chester programs.

The Chester Bowl Improvement Club was also sharing about the project to renovate the Thom Storm Chalet.

“Chester really is a special place. It feels like an urban wilderness in the middle of town,” said event organizer Dave Schaeffer. “There’s so many people that love the place and love the relationships that they’ve built here. An event like this just brings all of that together.”
