Chilly Billy’s to open in former Vanilla Bean location

We now have a location for Chilly Billy’s in Duluth. In January, new owners, Andrew Weisz and Adam Daoust announced that they would close their BlueStone location and move to a new spot. On Tuesday, it was announced that the popular frozen yogurt shop would move into the former Vanilla Bean Duluth location at 1608 Woodland Avenue. The site is expected to open on March 29.

“This move is not just about a change of scenery; it’s about expanding the Chilly Billy’s experience” stated company experience officer Annika Juenemann in a news release.

The new shop will also offer a full breakfast menu from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We noticed that our space was underutilized during the mornings and afternoons. By combining two of the best things in the world – breakfast and frozen yogurt – we’re leveraging our resources to provide our customers with more of what they love,” co-owner Andrew Weisz said in the release.

Weiz says the breakfast menu will feature breakfast staples, Acai Bowls, and a ‘top your own’ waffle bar among other favorites.

The frozen yogurt and topping section will be open from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The owners say they hope to host more special events at this location, and are finalizing plans to open a 3rd location in Superior. Chilly Billy’s is also available inside the Miller Hill Mall.
