Churchill Elementary earns Blue Ribbon award for closing the achievement gap

An exciting moment for Churchill Elementary, as they celebrate their Blue Ribbon status.

Kids gathered in the gym, all wearing the same blue t-shirts. Staff also joined in on the fun.

This culminates years of work to close the achievement gap.

Churchill is one of eight schools in Minnesota to earn this award.

Staff and leaders are very proud of the students and their team for making such big strides.
