Clinton Township mobile home destroyed in fire

A Clinton Township mobile home was destroyed in a fire Tuesday afternoon, January 7. As per the Northland Fire Wire, firefighters from Clinton Township and Cherry were dispatched to Forbes Mobile Home Park shortly before 1:00 p.m.
Authorities have not reported injuries, but as per the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department, a family dog was unaccounted for as of Tuesday evening.
The department has been in contact with the owner of the mobile home in an effort to get them assistance from the American Red Cross.
The St. Louis Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
