Construction on Silver Lake to begin in June

Work on the Silver Lake trail project will begin June of 2024. Crews will be building a floating dock across the Silver Lake Trail.

The construction will be a muti phase and multi-year project. Portions of the existing path will be closed during construction.

The construction is being paid for by state funds and taconite production taxes.
