Crews work to clear tipped over truck at Superior roundabout

UPDATE: The Superior Police Department says The traffic is moving and is temporarily diverted to the Billings Park area while the crash is being handled at the roundabout.

They mentioned that there is no hazmat concerns as only a small amount of diesel and hydraulic fluid was leaked and was easily handled by the Superior Fire Department.

ORIGINAL: Emergency crews are on scene at the roundabout near the Bong Bridge, where what appears to be a semi-truck tipped on its side.

Broken glass and other materials from the truck are scattered on the ground.

Superior Police and Fire are currently on scene. It’s best to avoid the area if possible, while cleanup continues.

No word yet from officials if there are any injuries, or how the accident happened.
