Cromwell Wright Public School hosts ribbon cutting after completed remodeling project

Cromwell Wright public school hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil their remodeled facilities on Friday September 6th.

The project repaired their damaged parking lot making it safer for school busses and families, expanded their small gym into a full-size competition floor, and installed a security system.

The project also tackled smaller issues like updating floors, ceilings, painting, and adding pictures to walls.

The students had been in the building for a week, but the ribbon cutting invited families and community members to check out the improvements.

The celebration included a speech from the superintendent and an open house.

“This is a very exciting day. I can’t tell you how excited we were to welcome students and staff back on Tuesday and just see their reactions. Everyone has been really supportive and enthusiastic,” said Nathan Libbon the Cromwell Wright Superintendent. “Everyone’s just really excited. It was a long process throughout the summer and all the planning that went in before that. But this is just a fantastic celebratory day.”
