Cross country ski Spring Nationals and SuperTour Final wrap up with real snow on Tuesday
A memorable last day for the Spring Nationals and SuperTour Final at Spirit Mountain thanks to the storm.
The Cross Country Ski National Championships and SuperTour Final wrapped up with plenty of Mother Nature’s snow, instead of the man-made kind.
On Tuesday, racers completed the final events of the season at Spirit Mountain.
Grooming took place early in the morning, after quite the snow load from the storm.
Race organizers are so proud of how it went, and happy that they are ending it with memories of real snow in Duluth.
Gary Larson, Chief of Competition, said, “We were able to keep the whole 4 kilometer course groomed. Thanks to the great crew at Spirit and our wonderful volunteers. This has been great.”
Congrats to all the skiers.
