A highly successful Freedom Day in Virginia and Grand Rapids.

Virginia Family Dental and Miskovich Dental Clinic both offered free services to veterans on Thursday.

They are the only two offices in the state to be part of this national effort.

Dr. Michael Miskovich, from Virginia Family Dental, shared, “We’ve seen a lot of new faces, and helped them with some issues they’ve had with pain. That’s so rewarding.”

His co-worker, Dr. Audrey Cyr, added, “The atmosphere is different. We bring out decorations and businesses supply treats. We swap stories. It’s so much fun.”

Jerry Pfremmer, a navy veteran, is very thankful for this opportunity. He was treated at Virginia Family Dental.

New this year, Miskovich Dental Clinic joined in the fun.

Dr. Andrew Kuehn told us, “We are thrilled to be doing it. And we love the motto, a day of free for a lifetime of freedom.”

Freedom Day is a national effort, and started in 2013.
