Dream It, Be It event at Eveleth-Gilbert High School

Young women at from Rock Ridge heard from women in a variety of fields on Tuesday during the Dream It, Be It event at the Eveleth-Gilbert High School.

Put on by the Soroptimists, the mentorship program is designed to give students a chance to hear from women in the workforce about their challenges and successes.

Mary Eddy Samuelson, co-chair of the event, shared, “They are telling them, don’t overlook an opportunity, that might open the door for another career. The path you are on now might not be the path you end up on later.”

Last year it was at the Virginia High School.
