This Thursday at Wade Stadium, the Duluth Arts Live Season Splash is brining all kinds of actors, musicians, and dancers together to give a preview of what shows are coming to the Zenith City.

The Duluth Arts Live Season Splash is taking place September 5th at Wade Stadium at 6:30pm.

This year is their 4th year of doing this, and the participating organizations include:

Bold Choice
Duluth Playhouse
Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra
Lake Superior Children’s Chorus
Lyric Opera of the North
Matinee Musicale
Minnesota Ballet
Take It With You
Twin Ports Choral Project
Wise Fool Theater
Zeitgeist

“And so each organization has a little snippet, and we’re excited to celebrate the opening of everyone’s seasons,” says Amber Burns.

The Season Splash is a rare event because you never get a live sneak peak of what is coming up, or all the different theatre, dance, and music groups performing on stage together.

Lyric Opera of the North’s Artistic Director Sarah Lawrence says, “This actually was created towards the end of COVID when we had all survived. We really just wanted to throw a party.”
