The Duluth Children’s the museum will be closed from May 14th through May 19th. The museum will be constructing a new exhibit but will reopen with a celebration on May 20th. Museum board members and volunteers will be helping to prep the new experience.
Holly Johnson, an Education Director at the Duluth Children’s Museum talked more about the new exhibit. “We have a new and exciting exhibit coming up. We are putting in a climber. So there will be a big celebration for next Saturday.” Johnson said. “A lot of places to hide, a lot of places to say hello to, to climb into slide and say hello to their families and and also maybe some other surprises.”
The Adventure Climber Opening Celebration is on Saturday May 20th from 9am-4pm. Regular admission applies, which is $10 for children and adults and free for infants under 12 months and DCM members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Duluth Children’s Museum, with an entire floor of indoor educational exhibits exploring art, engineering, imaginative play and more.
