The community of Duluth gathered for its annual Memorial Day Parade to honor those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
The parade moved along Grand Avenue in West Duluth, featuring marching bands, floats, antique cars, motorcycles, and military groups. The event is organized by the Duluth Women of Today group.
On of the parade attendees, Brenna Sobczak, told WDIO News about why this is an important tradition to her and her family, “I have veterans all over my family. He has veterans all over his family. So, we’ll definitely grow her up, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day.”
