The Duluth Skating Club hosted their 2024 Spring Show on Sunday afternoon. The event, held at Mars Lakeview Arena, the event had a new theme this year. Each performance was choreographed to a Taylor Swift song, putting their own spin on Swift’s 2023-2024 Eras tour. During the show, students were able to showcase their new skills and hard work put in throughout the year. Marketing Chair Lea Scudamore said the goal of this year’s theme was to play tunes their students were listing to, but this isn’t the first year they’ve had a specialized theme.

“We’ve been doing the ice show for 43 years and every year has a different theme,” said Scudamore. “We’ve done everything from old Hollywood to under the sea themed shows. We just keep trying to change it up.”

The Duluth Figure Skating Club offers a variety of classes for all levels of skaters. They also offer hockey skating lessons and open skate sessions for those who have passed their basic skating classes.
