Duluth man faces three felonies after pursuit on Highway 61

Fredrick Sievert, 31, has been charged in connection with an incident in Duluth Township last week.

Authorities said he shot a shotgun into a garage, and then fled police while on Highway 61.

He eventually crashed his vehicle near a gravel pit.

This was on Thursday evening.

Court documents said Sievert has not been taking medication he needs for a mental illness.

As of Monday evening, he remains in the jail.
