UMD men’s basketball’s biggest fan is Jonah Plys
Jonah Plys, the special assistant to the head coach, is so proud of being part of the men's basketball team at UMD.
Jonah Plys is getting ready to head to Sioux Falls, South Dakota this weekend. After all, he’s the Special Assistant to the Head Coach for the UMD Bulldogs Men’s basketball team.
They had a great run, going 23-5 and winning 11 straight home games.
“The season has been so wonderful and amazing,” Plys told us. “My role is to get the boys hyped up, and ready to roll. The team has been so joyful, and I love it so much.”
Their first game in the tournament is Saturday. They’ll play the winner between Augustana and Wayne State.
