Duluth Police Officer involved in vehicle-pedestrian accident

The Duluth Police Department has confirmed that an officer was involved in a minor vehicle-pedestrian crash Monday, October 28, around the intersection of 6th Ave E and E 2nd St around 1:10 p.m. According to the Minnesota State Patrol crash report, the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old woman.
The Duluth Police Department has requested that the Minnesota State Patrol investigate the incident. This investigation remains active and ongoing.
