Duluth Police respond to a car crash in the West Duluth area

Duluth police officers responded to a car accident in the West Duluth area. One vehicle crashed into another parked car in the parking lot at a KFC around 2:20 pm today.
According to the initial investigation, the female driver reversed out of a different parking lot, crossed Central Ave and hit the parked car in a KFC parking lot. The parked vehicle rolled onto its’ side from the impact. Duluth police officers on the scene determined the female driver had no signs of impairment.
The other car had three people inside at the time of the crash. They received minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The female driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for careless driving, she also refused medical treatment.
