Duluth police respond to a fight involving a gun

According to the Duluth Police Department, two people were taken into custody following a fight in which a handgun was drawn around 7:33pm on Friday April 11th.

Officers responded to the report of a fight on the 400 block of East 3rd Street in front of the Green Ramp.

Upon arrival police found three people who were involved in the fight, two of which fled from officers.

After they were apprehended, officers found that one of the involved parties had drawn a handgun during a fight, and another individual involved took the gun and threw it into a construction area.

Police were able to find the handgun and took two of the three individuals involved in the incident into custody with charges pending.
