One person is in custody following a stabbing on East 3rd Street in Duluth
A man is in custody following a stabbing on the 100 block of East 3rd Street.
Authorities say they have arrested a 24-year-old male in connection with a stabbing in Duluth on Thursday. The man is in the St. Louis County Jail pending charges of 1st Degree Assault.
Duluth Police responded to the 100 block of East 3rd Street for a report of a stabbing at around 12:22pm on Thursday.
Police say the initial investigation shows one individual sustained a stab wound and was transported to a local hospital by Mayo Ambulance. Their condition is unknown at this time.
All the individuals involved were detained and there is no threat to the public.
This is an ongoing investigation and the Duluth Police Department will update us with more information when it is able to be released.
